This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Develop and execute effective sales strategies and plans aimed at surpassing sales targets within the designated territory.
• Proactively seek out and capitalize on new business opportunities and market trends to drive revenue growth.
• Establish and maintain a robust sales pipeline, with a continual emphasis on acquiring new customers, creating opportunities, and closing deals.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to maintain an advantage over competitors.
• Actively engage with channel partners to enhance sales and market share growth; ensure accountability for sales targets, activity levels, and collaborative business development plans.
• Foster strong relationships with existing key customers.
• Understand customer needs, provide technical expertise, and present solutions that meet their requirements.
• Address customer concerns and issues promptly to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Prepare regular sales reports, detailing sales activities, customer feedback, and analysis of Factory Automation market trends.
• Provide accurate sales forecasts and contribute to the annual budgeting process.
• Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and emerging technologies related to the (FLMC).
• Collaborate with the FA Business Manager to align new product development with changing market needs and technological advancements.
• Develop a thorough understanding of the (FLMC) product portfolio supporting Industrial Automation Industries.
• Conduct product presentations and demonstrations for customers, highlighting the value proposition of Emerson's products and solutions.
• Bachelor’s Degree or relevant industrial sales experience.
• At least 2 years of related sales experience.
• Technical proficiency to understand technical issues and troubleshoot problems effectively.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the capacity to build rapport, establish trust, and close deals.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with CRM systems.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet deadlines.
• Valid U.S. driver's license.
• Willingness and ability to travel 25% - 35% of the time.
