This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Oversee a well-established territory valued at approximately $3M while seeking opportunities to enhance customer relationships and boost market share.
• Collaborate closely with distributors, one-step dealers, and independent lumber yards to meet their business requirements.
• Balance the maintenance of existing accounts with proactive prospecting and development of new opportunities.
• Represent metal roofing, wall panel systems, trims, and accessory products across residential, agricultural, and commercial sectors.
• Facilitate customer education and contractor training initiatives while supporting contractor pull-through efforts.
• Cultivate strong partnerships with operations, branch leadership, estimating, and customer support teams.
• Manage a high volume of customer interactions and transactions in a dynamic environment.
• Assist customers in transitioning through ongoing product and system integration efforts following recent operational adjustments.
• 3–5+ years of preferred sales experience.
• Experience in building materials, metal roofing, construction products, or related industries is strongly preferred.
• A solid understanding of dealer/distribution sales channels is highly preferred.
• Valued experience in estimating, project management, inside sales, or customer-facing construction support roles.
• Excellent relationship-building skills with a dedication to consistent customer follow-up.
• Self-motivated individual with the capacity to prioritize, manage multiple opportunities, and work independently.
• Comfortable functioning in a fast-paced, customer-oriented sales setting.
• Outstanding communication, organizational, and time management abilities.
• Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation.
• Capability to meet regularly with customers across the territory.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly build credibility and rapport with customers.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
