This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Nebraska.
• Oversee a well-established territory valued at approximately $6M while seeking opportunities to enhance customer relationships and grow market share.
• Collaborate closely with distributors, one-step dealers, and independent lumber yards to address their business requirements.
• Balance the retention of existing business with proactive prospecting and the development of new opportunities.
• Represent products including metal roofing, wall panel systems, trims, and accessory offerings across residential, agricultural, and commercial sectors.
• Facilitate customer education and contractor training sessions while supporting contractor pull-through efforts.
• Foster robust partnerships with operations, branch leadership, estimating, and customer support teams.
• Manage a high volume of customer interactions and transactions within a dynamic environment.
• Assist customers in transitioning through ongoing product and system integration initiatives following recent operational changes.
• Preferred 3–5+ years of sales experience.
• Strongly preferred experience in building materials, metal roofing, construction products, or related industries.
• Highly valued understanding of dealer/distribution sales channels.
• Experience in estimating, project management, inside sales, or customer-facing construction support roles is beneficial.
• Excellent relationship-building skills with a dedication to consistent customer follow-up.
• Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, manage multiple opportunities, and work autonomously.
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, customer-oriented sales setting.
• Strong communication, organization, and time management abilities.
• Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation are required.
• Capability to meet with customers regularly across the territory.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly build credibility and rapport with customers.
• Strong computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
