This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Coordinate commercial initiatives within field teams to ensure targets are achieved for boosting sales in a designated region.

• Develop, implement, and communicate the District Sales Plan while tracking progress.

• Optimize market, segment, and team dynamics to enhance both top- and bottom-line outcomes.

• Ensure seamless collaboration for daily operations and long-term business execution.

• Establish the tone and rhythm for business processes and organizational structure.

• Comprehend and convey a market and franchise/business perspective when leading teams and advocating for in-field meetings by mastering product and disease state knowledge, along with relevant market dynamics, including Managed Care landscape.

• Coach, mentor, train, and develop both direct and indirect team members to improve individual capabilities and boost overall team performance.

• Hold direct reports accountable for behaviors and expectations.

• Offer direction and insights to key internal partners during the business planning process.

• Consistently demonstrate the AbbVie Ways of Working.

• Operate a personal vehicle, company car or truck, or powered material handling equipment.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field is preferred, or relevant equivalent industry experience is required.

• Business analysis and planning capabilities that drive sales performance.

• Strong judgment and decision-making abilities.

• Capacity to articulate the scientific components of treatments and therapeutic areas.

• Demonstrated ability to provide candid, effective feedback and efficiently manage performance.

• Skill in developing talent for promotional opportunities.

• Ability to foster a culture of success and complete team engagement.

• Collaborates effectively and can influence without authority across various organizations.

• An essential requirement is to meet all applicable health care industry representative (HCIR) credentialing standards to obtain and maintain access to facilities and organizations within your assigned territory.
