This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Oversee commercial activities within field teams to ensure sales targets are achieved within a designated geographical area.

• Develop, implement, and communicate the District Sales Plan while tracking its progress.

• Organize in-field initiatives to meet results and established targets.

• Optimize market, segment, and team dynamics to enhance both top-line and bottom-line performance.

• Facilitate smooth and collaborative efforts in daily operations and long-term business strategies.

• Establish the tone and pace for business processes and organizational structure.

• Understand and convey market and franchise/business perspectives while leading teams and advocating for in-field meetings.

• Mentor, coach, and develop both direct and indirect team members to improve individual capabilities and boost overall team performance.

• Hold direct reports accountable for their behaviors and performance expectations.

• Provide guidance and insights to key internal partners during the business planning phase.

• Consistently demonstrate the AbbVie Ways of Working.


⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field is preferred, or relevant industry experience is required.

• Strong business analysis and planning skills that enhance sales performance.

• Exceptional judgment and decision-making abilities.

• Capability to articulate the scientific aspects of treatments and therapeutic areas effectively.

• Proven track record of delivering candid and effective feedback while efficiently managing performance.

• Ability to foster talent for promotional opportunities.

• Proficiency in creating a culture that promotes winning and full team engagement.

• Ability to collaborate and influence without authority across different organizations.

• Must meet all applicable health care industry representative (HCIR) credentialing requirements to gain and maintain access to facilities and organizations in your assigned territory.

• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening test while meeting safe driving standards.
