This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Recruit, mentor, and cultivate a high-achieving team of primary care sales representatives by leveraging available resources.
• Achieve sales performance and relevant Brand Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to fulfill or surpass the district sales plan while adhering to budgetary constraints.
• Supervise the daily field activities and manage the day-to-day operations of assigned team members to attain results within a designated district/geographical area.
• Guide a team of sales representatives in the field, ensuring they receive comprehensive training on product knowledge, market insights, brand strategies and tactics, corporate policies, and targeted business planning.
• Make certain that district priorities, activities, and engagement plans are in sync with brand strategy and national strategic goals to enhance strategic momentum and bolster brand success.
• Frequently analyze and assess team performance to optimize territory outcomes, with direct accountability for meeting targets.
• Plan, forecast, and manage an operating budget while continuously monitoring expenses.
• Execute field rides as directed by leadership, providing timely feedback, guidance, and coaching to Sales Representatives.
• Collaborate cross-functionally in the development of POAs and National Sales Meetings, including meeting objectives, training workshops, participant coordination, timing, agenda, and post-meeting metrics (both quantitative and qualitative).
• A BS/BA degree is required.
• At least five (5) years of successful experience in pharmaceutical sales, with a strong preference for experience in the primary care domain.
• A minimum of three (3) years of sales management experience in the pharmaceutical industry is highly preferred.
• A proven history of successful leadership, management, and coaching of cross-functional teams or functional individuals and teams.
• Experience in launch planning is strongly preferred, particularly within the primary care sector.
• Skilled in coaching total office call activities in a primary care or specialty setting using all available company resources.
• Experience in leveraging knowledge and expertise to forge strong relationships with HCPs, pharmacies, and other key stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to comprehend disease states, patient profiles, and treatment pathways to effectively present and articulate clinical information.
• A documented track record of sales success, including meeting or exceeding territory performance goals and achieving national recognition.
• Proven strategic thinking capabilities and the ability to operate with a high level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Experience with utilizing and optimizing CRM systems to support territory dynamics and performance analysis.
• Existing knowledge of territory and established relationships with key stakeholders is a plus.
• Marketing and other commercial experiences, along with an understanding of financial processes, Market Access, Project Management skills, and knowledge of the Regulatory environment within the biotech/pharma industry, is a plus.
