This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Oversee commercial activities within field teams to ensure sales targets are met in a designated geographic area.
• Develop, implement, and communicate the District Sales Plan while tracking its progress.
• Optimize market, segment, and team dynamics to enhance both top-line and bottom-line outcomes.
• Facilitate smooth and collaborative efforts for both daily operations and long-term business strategies.
• Coach, mentor, and develop both direct and indirect team members to improve individual skills and overall team effectiveness.
• Offer guidance and insights to key internal stakeholders during the business planning process.
• Consistently demonstrate the AbbVie Ways of Working.
• Bachelor's degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or a business-related field is preferred; relevant and equivalent industry experience is required.
• Strong business analysis and planning abilities that contribute to sales performance.
• Demonstrated leadership as a District Manager.
• At least four years of experience in pharmaceutical sales management.
• Exceptional judgment and decision-making capabilities.
• Ability to effectively communicate the scientific aspects of treatments and therapeutic areas.
• Proven capacity to provide honest, constructive feedback and manage performance efficiently.
• Skill in developing talent for promotional opportunities.
