This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +3 more states.
• Establish and nurture robust relationships with both existing and potential customers within the district.
• Formulate and implement sales strategies aimed at meeting the revenue and profitability objectives of the district.
• Discover new business opportunities and enhance market share within the designated district.
• Oversee and lead the district's Field Service Engineer (FSE) team to provide outstanding on-site customer assistance.
• Organize the service schedules for the district as necessary, ensuring the prompt delivery of on-site services and solutions.
• Promote the utilization of RMC product technology, including corrosion and scale inhibitors.
• Create and execute objectives aligned with the overall division goals for profitable sales growth, customer service excellence, and personnel development.
• Hold P&L accountability for the district, encompassing sales forecasting and budgeting, as well as analyzing market potential and industry opportunities.
• Manage the core competencies of the team, including technical expertise, business management, and sales methodologies toward achieving specific territory sales targets.
• Foster personnel development, assess team performance, and provide recommendations to attract, motivate, and retain qualified talent.
• Stay updated on the latest technologies, product advancements, marketing trends, and sales techniques through reading, attending seminars, and conferences.
• Exemplify and promote RMC values and culture.
• Perform other duties as necessary.
• A Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in a scientific discipline.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in direct sales roles, specifically within the food and beverage production sector.
• At least 3-5 years of management experience is required, ideally involving sales in related fields.
• In-depth understanding of sales management and direct sales techniques.
• Comprehensive knowledge of industry-specific technologies, applications, and procedures.
• Proficiency in engaging with individuals at all levels of an organization.
• Strong business acumen.
• Skills in leadership and team building.
• Proficient in analytical, administrative, motivational, organizational, planning, persuasion, and problem-solving skills.
