This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the efficient and profitable operation of approximately 10-15 retail locations.
• Serve as a connection between stores and the Support Office, collaborating closely with Market Managers, Corporate Store Managers, and Business Partners.
• Assist a team of store operators in all facets of store operations including controls, promotional activities, community involvement, inspections, and overall performance metrics.
• Emphasize customer service, engage with customers, and effectively resolve escalated issues.
• Conduct market meetings, implement training programs, and communicate directives to store operators.
• Oversee store operations, cleanliness, inventory levels, and ensure adherence to corporate policies and procedures.
• Track sales, assess competitive pricing, manage sales incentives, and oversee promotional initiatives.
• Implement all security measures, mystery shop protocols, as well as health and safety programs.
• Adhere to all company standards and comply with government regulations.
• Actively engage in the recruitment, selection, and development of store operators and corporate managers.
• Reduce loss by enforcing inventory control measures, managing stock levels, and conducting theft investigations.
• Accountable for Profit & Loss, achieving top line sales, and ensuring contract compliance.
• Relay all necessary information and reports through appropriate channels.
• Coordinate and manage external services as needed. Follow merchandising guidelines, store layouts, and participate in store renovations, as well as any special projects assigned.
• Bachelor’s Degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred, or an equivalent combination of post-secondary education and experience.
• A minimum of 3-5 years of management experience is required, with a proven track record in retail and/or food service environments.
• Must demonstrate strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and resourcefulness.
• Customer service-oriented, emotionally intelligent, with outstanding interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is necessary to operate a company vehicle.
