This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Assist the Executive Director in managing the operations and functions of the State office.
• Collaborate with the Department of Education and school leaders to enhance SkillsUSA Texas membership.
• Organize and execute the Fall Leadership event and District Contests.
• Provide guidance and support to new chapter advisors.
• Partner with the Director of Championships for competitions and events.
• Keep track of district supplies inventory.
• At least five years of experience in the education sector.
• Previous experience with SkillsUSA is advantageous.
• Background in career and technical education (CTE) and career technical student organizations (CTSOs).
• Proven success in working with key stakeholders.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Capacity to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent planning and organizational capabilities.
• Adaptability and initiative.
• Ability to work independently while thriving in a team setting.
• High standards of professionalism and ethics when handling confidential information.
• Skilled in organizing and managing multiple tasks with a keen attention to detail.
• Required participation in the State Leadership and Skills Conference.
• Annual attendance at the District Coordinator meeting prior to the start of the fiscal year.
