This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Instruct, mentor, and train team members to guarantee the successful implementation of essential Asset Protection strategies.
• Propel the application of the Merchandise Protection Standards (MPS), Pick Ticket, and Lockup initiatives.
• Analyze available data to discern significant theft patterns by category and SKU for both internal and external theft, devising appropriate solutions.
• Conduct prompt interviews for internal theft incidents flagged by the MAPM or Central Investigations Team (CIT).
• Foster collaborations with local law enforcement to enhance THD's brand reputation.
• Make recruitment choices and enforce disciplinary measures, including termination when necessary.
• Instruct, mentor, train, and cultivate AP associates to ensure the implementation of theft prevention processes.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiarity with presentation software (e.g., Microsoft PowerPoint).
• Proven ability to collaborate and work efficiently with cross-functional teams.
• Capable of negotiating, managing complaints, resolving disputes, and addressing grievances with both internal and external clients.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Required licensure/certification may vary by location.
• Over 3 years of experience in multi-unit retail Asset Protection.
• Experience conducting internal investigations, including interviews.
• Knowledge of Organized Retail Crime elements and partnerships with law enforcement.
