Distributor Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Develop and oversee strategic partnerships with key distributor partners, ensuring alignment on business goals, product focus, inventory levels, and sell-through performance within the designated region.

• Drive revenue growth and enhance profitability through the distribution channel by implementing territory sales plans, meeting annual targets, and expanding market share.

• Take ownership of regional sales planning and performance management, including forecasting, budget supervision, and regular reporting of results, risks, and opportunities.

• Translate strategic initiatives into field execution by collaborating with Contractor Account Managers and channel partners to optimize market coverage and convert demand into revenue.

• Identify, cultivate, and expand channel opportunities, including establishing new distributor relationships and focused growth initiatives within key segments and accounts.

• Lead distributor engagement efforts, such as open houses, training sessions, and industry trade shows, to enhance product adoption and strengthen partner capabilities.

• Maintain in-depth product and application knowledge to effectively position Hydro-Rain, B-hyve, Bond, and Husqvarna solutions within the distribution channel.

• Analyze market dynamics, competitive activities, and account performance to inform strategic decisions, adjust plans, and improve business outcomes.

• Collaborate with marketing and leadership to relay field insights and aid in the development of products, programs, and go-to-market strategies.

• Manage key distributor accounts and regional programs, ensuring consistent execution, high service levels, and alignment with company initiatives. • Ensure that all customer service standards are met.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.

• A minimum of 7+ years of external sales experience in the Green Industry.

• At least 3 years of experience in managing others' work.

• Valid driver’s license.

• Clean driving record.

• Preference will be given to candidates who are fluent in Spanish.

• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
