Distinguished Software Architect – Head of Water Architecture

📋 Description

• Establish and convey an inspiring technical vision for the Water portfolio

• Assume full responsibility for architectural decisions at the portfolio level

• Define and refine the components and guiding principles of Water’s architecture

• Create standards and best practices for software design

• Collaborate closely with development leads from each Water product team

• Provide mentorship to senior engineers and emerging architects within the Water organization

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 15 years of experience as a software engineer or architect, including hands-on development

• More than 5 years in a senior architectural position within a SaaS company pursuing a platform strategy

• Proven track record of delivering scalable desktop and cloud software

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent experience

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of engaging with both technical and non-technical global audiences
