Dispensing Assistant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Assist in the dispensing of prescriptions within a fast-paced, deadline-oriented setting.

• Ensure that prescriptions are dispensed correctly and within established service standards.

• Support the Clinical team with routine dispensing tasks.

• Take responsibility for prescription labeling and accuracy.

• Adhere to all Pharmacy2U dispensing protocols and quality benchmarks.

• Collaborate effectively with Customer Services, Purchasing, Operations, and Pharmacists.

• Achieve both individual and team productivity goals.

• Maintain adherence to all legal, ethical, and professional pharmacy regulations.

• Foster a positive, supportive, and enjoyable team culture.

• Always prioritize patient safety and quality above all else.

⛳️ Requirements

• NVQ Level 2 Dispensing Assistant qualification (mandatory)

• GCSEs in Maths and English (or equivalent qualifications)

• Experience in a pharmacy or a similarly regulated setting

• Proven ability to work accurately under pressure and meet tight deadlines

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

• Proficient IT skills, including intermediate knowledge of Excel

• Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy

• Capability to prioritize tasks and work autonomously as well as collaboratively

• A proactive approach with a desire to learn and grow

• A sincere patient-first attitude and dedication to providing outstanding service.
