Disbursements Supervisor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +17 more states.

📋 Description

• Track performance metrics to ensure that productivity goals are achieved.

• Supervise daily operations to provide timely and precise outputs.

• Implement and uphold anti-fraud measures while proactively addressing issues.

• Manage banking partnerships and operational access.

• Oversee staff, delegate tasks, and resolve technical or subject-specific challenges.

• Assess training requirements and conduct team or individual training sessions.

• Monitor productivity and execute efficiency and cost-reduction strategies.

• Organize and facilitate both internal and external training programs.

• Offer coaching and career advancement support for direct reports.

• Conduct team meetings and one-on-one sessions; represent the Disbursements team in cross-departmental discussions.

• Review and authorize SOPs, process maps, time entries, and PTO requests for direct reports.

• Prepare management reports for Client Services and Operations.

• Assist with project implementations and fulfill necessary training and compliance obligations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent experience.

• Over 5 years of experience in finance-related positions.

• At least 3 years of experience in a supervisory role.

• Familiarity with Qualified Settlement Funds, Trusts, and/or Escrow Accounts is preferred.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly with intermediate to advanced Excel skills.

• Excellent written, verbal, and listening communication abilities.

• Proven leadership and coaching skills within a team environment.

• Capability to prioritize tasks and adhere to strict deadlines.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical competencies.

• Adaptable in a rapidly changing environment and able to work independently.
