This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• The Disability Management Administrator is tasked with the daily management of the Workers’ Compensation Program and supervises the third-party administrators responsible for Telecare's workers’ compensation claims.

• This role involves collaborating closely with HR, Leadership, and Staff to deliver training, guidance on claim reporting, and updates regarding claim statuses.

• The Disability Management Administrator is responsible for interpreting Labor Code regulations and applying them appropriately to occupational injuries and illnesses.

• This position also aids in the creation, implementation, and upkeep of initiatives, strategies, training, and educational programs aimed at managing the costs associated with Telecare's Workers' Compensation program.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related business discipline, along with two (2) years of experience as an HR Generalist focused on leave or disability management; OR five (5) years of experience as an HR Generalist with a similar focus and current HR certification such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, CPDM, CLMS, and/or extensive knowledge of leave requirements and legal protections provided by the FMLA, ADA, and other relevant laws.

• A minimum of five (5) years of experience in managing workers' compensation claims within an insurance carrier, claims administrator, or self-insured organization.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Outstanding organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or comparable software.

• Candidates must undergo fingerprinting and obtain clearance from the Department of Justice.

• Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
