This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• The Disability Management Administrator is tasked with the daily management of the Workers’ Compensation Program, overseeing the handling of Telecare's workers’ compensation claims by third-party administrators.

• This role involves close collaboration with HR, Leadership, and Staff to provide training, guidance on claim reporting, and updates on claim statuses.

• The Disability Management Administrator is responsible for interpreting Labor Code regulations and ensuring their correct application regarding occupational injuries and illnesses.

• This position also aids in the creation, implementation, and upkeep of initiatives, strategies, training, and educational programs aimed at managing the costs associated with Telecare's Workers' Compensation program.


⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related business field, along with two (2) years of experience as an HR Generalist with a focus on leave or disability management; OR five (5) years of experience as an HR Generalist with a focus on leave or disability management and current HR certification such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, CPDM, CLMS, and/or in-depth knowledge of the leave requirements and other legal protections provided by the FMLA, ADA, and other relevant laws.

• A minimum of five (5) years of experience in managing workers' compensation claims for an insurance carrier, claims administrator, or self-insured entity.

• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or comparable software.

• Applicants must undergo fingerprinting and obtain clearance from the Department of Justice.

• Candidates must be at least 18 years old.
