This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Acts as the subject matter expert within the disability and accommodation Center of Excellence, supporting the Strategic HR Partner across the organization.
• Champions HR excellence in all facets related to disability programs and accommodation management across designated service lines.
• Conducts data analysis and presents summarized findings regarding disability and accommodation management, including the identification of trends and gaps.
• Maintains effective communication with employees requiring accommodations to ensure a smooth and timely return to work; facilitates communication between employees and their managers in cases of complex disability-related accommodation needs or escalations.
• Collaborates with Workers' Compensation, Risk Management, and other relevant departments to address organizational requirements.
• Evaluates accommodation requests under the Americans with Disabilities Act, providing guidance to leaders and employees.
• Investigates available accommodations and reviews options as part of the interactive process.
• Drafts and/or suggests modifications to company policies to guarantee compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Keeps thorough and accurate records of leave and accommodation requests, adhering to legal requirements and best practices documentation.
• Aids in identifying and developing transitional return-to-work programs, supporting employees in returning safely and promptly, and offering temporary modified job roles when necessary.
• Collaborates with supervisors to modify workplace accommodations within the framework of return-to-work initiatives.
• Educates department heads on the benefits of effective return-to-work programs and shares recommended best practices to enhance their outcomes and experiences.
• Guides departments in exploring return-to-work possibilities by suggesting potential modified job roles within their sector.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (Required)
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience (Required)
• Skills: Analytical Thinking, Communication, Computer Literacy, Group Problem Solving, Professional Presentation
