Director, Utilization Management – Post Acute Care

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.

📋 Description

• Directs the utilization management team to guarantee the proper application of policy procedures and processes.

• Oversees and manages Utilization Operations concerning the daily functions of Utilization Management.

• Guides the utilization management team on performance, improvements, and considerations for career growth.

• Reviews, analyzes, and reports on utilization trends, patterns, and impacts to deliver an effective utilization program.

• Establishes policies and procedures that integrate best practices.

• Develops utilization management strategies and influences decisions by providing insightful recommendations.

• Responsible for aspects of the department’s budget while collaborating across departments with senior leadership.

• Implements the overall strategy for onboarding, hiring, and training new members of the utilization management team.

• Leads and advocates for change within the scope of responsibility.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree is required.

• A minimum of 7 years of related experience, including prior management experience.

• 4+ years of management experience is preferred.

• In-depth knowledge of industry regulations, policies, and standards is preferred.

• RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure is preferred.
