This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Spearhead the formulation and implementation of the US market access strategy to align with brand goals and enhance patient access initiatives.
• Collaborate across various departments including marketing, value and evidence, medical, regulatory, sales, and finance to shape strategies for access and reimbursement.
• Evaluate the payer landscape, including coverage, coding, reimbursement, and policy developments to pinpoint risks, opportunities, and strategic actions.
• Create compelling value propositions, access narratives, payer materials, and strategic recommendations that facilitate product adoption and reimbursement.
• Assist in the preparation for pricing, contracting, and access-related decisions in partnership with internal stakeholders.
• Track competitor activities and market trends, distill insights, and convert findings into actionable market access strategies.
• Advocate for the US market access strategy in internal governance discussions and aid senior leadership in decision-making through clear recommendations and analyses.
• A Bachelor's degree is mandatory; an advanced degree in business, life sciences, public health, pharmacy, or a related discipline is preferred.
• Over 10 years of relevant experience in market access, payer strategy, pricing, reimbursement, HEOR, or related commercial functions within the pharmaceutical/biotech sector.
• Proven track record in developing and executing US market access strategies for specialty, branded, or launch-stage products.
• Comprehensive understanding of the US payer landscape, including commercial, Medicare, Medicaid, PBM, and provider reimbursement dynamics.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.
• Exceptional strategic thinking, analytical, communication, and presentation capabilities.
• Experience in translating complex data and payer insights into straightforward business recommendations.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a dynamic, matrixed environment.
