This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Spearhead the formulation and implementation of Littelfuse's global sustainability strategy and roadmap.
• Embed sustainability priorities into business operations and decision-making processes alongside senior leaders.
• Create and oversee sustainability goals, metrics, and performance monitoring systems.
• Direct the activities of the Sustainability team and facilitate cross-functional organizational transformation.
• Manage enterprise readiness and compliance initiatives for new sustainability regulations and disclosure requirements.
• Track developments in climate, packaging, product stewardship, and sustainability reporting regulations.
• Design compliance roadmaps and governance frameworks for global operations.
• Collaborate with Legal, Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, Product Management, Operations, and EHS teams.
• Administer greenhouse gas inventory programs, addressing Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 emissions.
• Supervise carbon accounting methodologies, emissions data quality, reporting protocols, and sustainability data platforms.
• Assist in achieving climate targets, implementing emissions reduction initiatives, and formulating decarbonization strategies.
• Direct the sustainability disclosure strategy and oversee the preparation and publication of the annual Sustainability Report.
• Support the Proxy Statement, Annual Report, public sustainability communications, and external assurance efforts.
• Maintain the content of the sustainability website and ESG information disclosures.
• Lead responses to sustainability inquiries from customers, investors, and stakeholders.
• Facilitate product environmental footprint assessments, life cycle assessments, and enhancements in product sustainability.
• Incorporate sustainability factors into product design and development in collaboration with R&D and New Product Development teams.
• Oversee the activities and governance processes of the Sustainability Steering Committee.
• Prepare executive communications, presentations, and updates for senior leadership and the Board of Directors.
• Offer insights on sustainability risks, opportunities, and emerging trends.
• Establish processes for sustainability data governance and internal controls.
• Enhance the quality, consistency, transparency, and auditability of sustainability data.
• Support assurance requirements and promote continuous improvement in data management and reporting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business Administration, Engineering, Public Policy, or a related discipline.
• Over 10 years of progressive experience in sustainability, ESG, environmental compliance, climate strategy, or related fields.
• More than 5 years of leadership experience managing programs and influencing cross-functional teams in a global setting.
• Proven experience in leading sustainability reporting, carbon accounting, regulatory compliance, or ESG initiatives.
• In-depth understanding of sustainability disclosure frameworks and standards, including GRI, SASB, TCFD, CDP, and emerging regulatory reporting requirements.
• Familiarity with greenhouse gas accounting methodologies and reporting for Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 emissions.
• Experience in managing sustainability software platforms and extensive sustainability data programs.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex global projects with multiple stakeholders and business functions.
• Strong skills in executive communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and project management skills.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 25%.
• Preferred: experience in manufacturing, industrial, electronics, or technology sectors.
• Preferred: knowledge of product sustainability, lifecycle assessment (LCA), circular economy principles, and sustainable product development.
• Preferred: experience in supporting sustainability assurance or audit processes.
• Preferred: familiarity with sustainability compliance requirements across North America, Europe, and Asia.
• Preferred: professional certifications in sustainability, environmental management, climate, or ESG-related fields.
