This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Manage the daily operations of Amplity’s healthcare compliance program.
• Report directly to the Chief Compliance Officer and implement the compliance program.
• Create, enhance, and maintain compliance policies, procedures, training, and educational resources.
• Execute monitoring activities, annual compliance work plans, and three-year audit strategies.
• Conduct reviews of expenses, meals, interactions with healthcare professionals, call/activity data, and program-level operations.
• Analyze monitoring outcomes, pinpoint trends and risks, escalate findings, and oversee remediation efforts.
• Assist in compliance program effectiveness assessments in line with DOJ and OIG guidelines.
• Manage the intake, triage, and investigation of non-compliance allegations and hotline reports.
• Conduct interviews, collect documentation, prepare investigation reports, and propose corrective and preventive measures.
• Act as the compliance liaison for clients in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors.
• Support client audits, complete questionnaires, respond to due diligence inquiries, and fulfill program start-up compliance needs.
• Develop compliance dashboards, metrics, updates, and reports for executives, the Board, and the Compliance Committee.
• Maintain key performance indicators for monitoring, training, investigations, and transparency reporting.
• Serve as a compliance subject matter expert for pitch presentations and requests for proposals (RFPs).
• Host, assist, and respond to client audits and implement corrective action plans as necessary.
• Oversee web-based training specific to departmental needs.
• Lead the Compliance team and distribute workload to ensure high-quality and timely deliverables.
• Support the Chief Compliance Officer with additional tasks as required.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• At least five (5) years of healthcare compliance experience within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or pharmaceutical services sector.
• A minimum of three (3) years of experience in conducting compliance investigations, including handling complaints and resolving issues.
• Solid understanding of the federal Anti-Kickback Statute, False Claims Act, Sunshine Act/Open Payments, FDA promotional regulations, HIPAA, the PhRMA Code, OIG compliance program guidance, and state transparency and marketing laws.
• Proven experience in conducting compliance investigations and documenting results.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver compliance training programs.
• Experience in designing and executing monitoring and auditing activities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to advise business stakeholders and engage with client compliance personnel.
• Capacity to exercise sound, independent judgment while maintaining confidentiality.
• Familiarity with applicable laws, regulations, and rules related to the promotion of pharmaceutical and other healthcare products.
• Skill in managing multiple concurrent priorities in a dynamic environment.
• High ethical standards and exceptional judgment.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Comfortable operating autonomously in a remote work environment.
