Director Strategy, Innovation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of IONITY’s strategic agenda from its conception to implementation.

• Contribute to defining the next phase of the company and ensure that strategy translates into measurable business results.

• Lead a diverse team encompassing Strategy, Market & Business Intelligence, M&A, Government Affairs, Public Funding, and Shareholder Relations.

• Identify potential value creation opportunities for IONITY, assess new business models, lead strategic transactions, and drive transformation initiatives across the company.

• Address some of the most critical issues shaping the future of mobility, energy, and digital services in Europe.

• Continuously identify, analyze, and evaluate strategic opportunities for IONITY.

• Explore and evaluate prospects across essential areas, including Energy strategy, Mobility sector, and Digital Platform Services.

• Serve as a strategic advisor and collaborator to the CEO and senior leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of leadership experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, transformation, or a similar senior position.

• Demonstrated M&A experience, particularly in purchase price and valuation negotiations.

• Strong analytical and quantitative capabilities; comfortable working with revenue, network, and energy data, as well as complex forecasting models.

• Experience in, or a strong interest in, the energy, mobility, infrastructure, or technology sectors.

• A proven track record of not only crafting strategies but also executing them to achieve tangible outcomes.

• Excellent stakeholder management skills across executives, shareholders, and public/government entities.

• Strong leadership abilities, with the capacity to build, develop, and motivate a multidisciplinary team.

• Proficient in English.
