This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Identify, frame, and enhance high-value innovation opportunities within various healthcare solution sectors, encompassing payer, provider, life sciences, and patient-facing markets.
• Support Project Vanguard by developing solution pathways for Validiti 2.0 and Validiti 3.0, facilitating entry into adjacent and new healthcare markets.
• Convert emerging technological capabilities into operationally viable, economically sound, and commercially relevant business narratives.
• Collaborate with business unit leaders, product stakeholders, healthcare experts, researchers, architects, AI specialists, and solution developers to define practical innovation strategies.
• Work across business lines to uncover interconnected solution value, cross-business-unit leverage, and broader platform or ecosystem opportunities.
• Assist in identifying solution opportunities that minimize friction between payers and providers, effectively leveraging Cotiviti's position within the healthcare ecosystem.
• Ensure that innovation concepts are rooted in the realities of healthcare operations, including workflow design, reimbursement dynamics, adoption challenges, staffing limitations, and business economics.
• Partner with leaders in healthcare technology research, advanced AI research, architecture, and solution innovation development to transform opportunities into actionable solutions.
• Develop forward-looking solution hypotheses based on the evolution of the healthcare market, changes in workflow, and enabling technologies.
• Clearly and credibly communicate and advocate for innovation opportunities to executive and functional stakeholders, fostering support for initiatives that may not yet be widely recognized.
• Assist in the assessment of internal development, partnership, and ecosystem pathways for new solution innovations.
• Recruit, develop, mentor, lead, and retain top-tier talent, emphasizing the cultivation of a team and culture capable of implementing best practices to achieve high levels of internal and external customer satisfaction.
• Fulfill all responsibilities as specified in the annual performance review and/or goal-setting process.
• Complete all special projects and additional tasks as assigned.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, health informatics, information systems, engineering, public health, or a related discipline.
• Advanced degree preferred.
• Over 10 years of experience in healthcare strategy, solution strategy, healthcare consulting, innovation strategy, product strategy, healthcare operations, or a closely related area.
• More than 5 years of leadership experience collaborating with cross-functional business and technical teams.
• Proven fluency across various healthcare domains, including payment integrity, risk adjustment, quality, fraud, waste and abuse, value-based care, consumer or patient engagement, payer operations, provider operations, revenue cycle, and digital health.
• Experience in bridging executive priorities, operational realities, technical capabilities, and commercial implications.
• Skilled in framing solution opportunities, pilots, prototypes, business cases, or strategic options within complex enterprise environments.
• Experience in evaluating or shaping solutions involving AI, automation, analytics, workflow orchestration, predictive modeling, digital health ecosystems, or other emerging technologies.
• Excellent executive communication skills with the ability to influence business unit leaders, product stakeholders, researchers, architects, and builders.
• Strong analytical and synthetic thinking skills, capable of connecting disparate signals into coherent opportunity spaces.
• Experience working within matrixed enterprises and cross-business-unit initiatives is preferred.
• Familiarity with payer and provider environments is preferred.
• Experience in management consulting, enterprise transformation, or healthcare strategic advisory settings is preferred.
