Director, Solution Architecture

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of and define the project scope for large, highly complex CRE enterprise engagements.

• Prioritize and sequence engineering tasks across delivery pods.

• Ensure alignment among data engineers, software engineers, and data analysts based on client priorities.

• Act as the main technical liaison with senior client leadership.

• Present innovative solutions and cultivate trusted, executive-level relationships.

• Collaborate with Sales and Customer Success during the discovery and scoping phases for enterprise accounts.

• Convert financial, operational, and leasing requirements into comprehensive solutions, technical specifications, and data workflows.

• Design integrations and data models in collaboration with Product, Data, and Engineering teams.

• Utilize certified connectors such as Yardi, MRI, RealPage, Entrata, Argus, Chatham Financial, and VTS.

• Establish and uphold architecture standards and reusable solution patterns across pods.

• Advocate for an AI-first approach, incorporating AI-driven capabilities into client solutions where beneficial.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of experience in solution architecture, enterprise delivery, or implementation consulting, particularly on large, high-complexity projects.

• Strong understanding of CRE business principles, including asset management, financial, and leasing processes.

• Practical experience with CRE systems such as Yardi, MRI, VTS, or similar platforms.

• Solid foundation in data engineering principles: ETL/ELT, data modeling, and API-based integrations.

• Ability to scope and prioritize tasks across cross-functional, distributed delivery teams.

• Exceptional executive-level communication and stakeholder management abilities.

• Comfort in navigating a fast-paced, high-complexity delivery environment.

• AI-first mindset, with practical experience using AI/LLM-based tools to enhance solution design, prototyping, or delivery efforts.
