β’ Represent Agile Six at conferences, industry days, and partner events focused on HHS. Establish a prominent presence within CMS, CDC, ACF, and related agency communities.
β’ Cultivate relationships with program offices and partners that facilitate the shaping of real opportunities across CMS, CDC, ACF, and related social services agencies. Focus on connections that align federal program intent with procurement reality.
β’ Collaborate directly with active HHS delivery teams to maintain client intelligence and pinpoint expansion opportunities within current programs. In cases where delivery relationships are not yet established in a target agency, your business development efforts will lay the groundwork.
β’ Assess potential opportunities based on strategic fit, likelihood of success, and delivery alignment. The HHS landscape is broad; understanding what to pursue is as crucial as knowing what to avoid.
β’ Stay informed about the procurement pipeline, competitive positioning, and market changes within your target agencies. Grasp how innovation offices, OIT structures, and cross-agency initiatives influence what is procured and the timeline for procurement.
β’ Lead partner and teaming negotiations while ensuring the integrity of the delivery model is preserved. The structure of relationships is as significant as the relationships themselves.
β’ Collaborate closely with the Communications and Proposals team on market research, RFP analysis, and proposal development.
β’ Take ownership of and manage the social services BD pipeline with discipline and transparency.
β’ Identify and cultivate subcontracting and teaming opportunities with large prime contractors. Support joint venture pursuits through Intuitial Six and Theta Six.
β’ Credibly represent Agile Six's applied AI capabilities in discussions with government stakeholders and partners. Actively utilize AI tools in your own business development practice, including research, pipeline analysis, and competitive intelligence.
β’ 8+ years of experience in business development, partnership management, or a related strategic role in technology, digital services, or consulting.
β’ Comprehensive understanding of the HHS landscape beyond a single operating division, including familiarity with how CMS, CDC, ACF, and other agencies procure technology services.
β’ Knowledge of how federal health and social services programs intersect with state-level implementation, creating procurement opportunities. This understanding is essential; the federal-to-state connection is central to our growth strategy in this market.
β’ Strong communication skills with the ability to achieve results through relationship-building rather than merely introductions and follow-ups.
β’ Experience collaborating cross-functionally with contracts, finance, and delivery teams.
β’ An authentic, values-driven approach that allows you to represent Agile Six's core values in high-stakes situations.
β’ Proven ability to utilize AI-enabled tools in your own business development practice, demonstrating sound judgment regarding where human context remains important.
