Director, Security Solutions – Pre-Sales Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Oversee and lead the Security Solutions Engineering Team.

• Offer strategic guidance, solution sales account planning, and technical pre-sales leadership for internal sales teams.

• Manage a team of Solutions Engineers within the Security Practice.

• Directly supervise Security Solutions Engineers and Architects.

• Responsible for interviewing, hiring, and training staff; planning, delegating, and overseeing work; evaluating performance, rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing grievances and resolving issues.

• Spearhead the go-to-market strategy, planning, and implementation for the Security Practice.

• Propel the execution of the technical go-to-market plan alongside field sales.

• Drive the identification and implementation of cross-functional solutions to enhance our customers' next generation programs.

• Foster cross-functional education and execution across various technology areas.

• Provide expertise and insights during the solution development process.

• Develop solution plays that consist of engineering-led solutions to educate field sales on specific areas of expertise.

• Maintain the necessary technical certification requirements for key partners.

• Ensure Solutions Architects and Engineers are effectively managing opportunities and proactively driving them to closure.

• Exhibit and actively promote a thorough understanding and commitment to the company's mission.


⛳️ Requirements

• Must reside in the PST/MST time zone.

• 10+ years of experience in a related field with an IT background.

• Experience in technical sales related to security tools, security architecture, consulting, and collaboration.

• Exceptional communication skills, including presentations, written and verbal communication.

• Ability to manage security and networking technologies effectively.

• Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.

• Outstanding leadership capabilities.

• Proven ability to collaborate effectively across functional groups and levels within an organization, as well as externally.

• Self-motivated with excellent organizational, administrative, and interpersonal skills; capable of project management, multitasking, and thriving in a fast-paced environment.

• Communicate effectively with leadership.

• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
