This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.
• Guide the strategic vision, growth initiatives, and daily operations of the security practice, encompassing service innovation, market entry strategies, and revenue generation.
• Collaborate with sales teams to identify opportunities, formulate account strategies, facilitate discovery sessions, and position security solutions that meet customer business and risk requirements.
• Provide technical and business leadership in areas such as email security, SASE, endpoint protection, vulnerability management, SOC/MDR, and secure gateway solutions, ensuring offerings are up-to-date, competitive, and aligned with client needs.
• Supervise delivery quality, resource allocation, utilization, and customer satisfaction across security engagements, which include assessments, implementations, managed services, and ongoing advisory services.
• Cultivate strategic partnerships with key security vendors and partners, such as Arctic Wolf, Pondurance, Zscaler, Cloudflare, and other relevant platform providers to enhance joint selling, enablement, and excellence in service delivery.
• Collaborate with internal iT1 personnel associated with Security Vendors to develop business plans and strategies.
• Recruit, mentor, and nurture security consultants, engineers, and practice resources by creating career paths, training programs, delivery standards, and technical enablement initiatives.
• Manage practice-level financial performance, which includes forecasting, pipeline health, gross margin, service pricing input, and contributions to annual business planning.
• Assist in the creation of proposals, statements of work, service descriptions, presentations, and executive briefings, effectively translating technical capabilities into clear business value and delivery results.
• Develop and monitor key performance indicators for the practice, covering bookings, revenue, utilization, customer satisfaction, service quality, and partner performance, and promote continuous improvement based on findings.
• Over 7 years of progressive experience in cybersecurity, security consulting, managed security services, or similar technology services, including leadership or practice management roles.
• Proven experience in one or more of the following areas: email security, SASE/security service edge, endpoint security, vulnerability assessment and management tools, SOC/MDR solutions, and secure access or API gateway technologies.
• Strong business insight with experience in practice operations, service delivery management, financial oversight, forecasting, and cross-functional leadership.
• Capability to lead pre-sales efforts including client discovery, workshop facilitation, solution positioning, proposal creation, and statement of work review.
• Exceptional executive communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities, with the skill to translate intricate technical concepts into business-oriented recommendations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• **Preferred Certifications:**
• Preferred certifications encompass CISSP, CISM, CCSP
• Relevant vendor certifications from Zscaler, Cloudflare, Microsoft Security, Cisco, Palo Alto
