This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Evaluate and enhance playbooks while identifying opportunities for automation efficiencies within our Security detection and response capabilities.

• Collaborate with Engineering teams on incident response, vulnerability management, and remediation measures.

• Provide technical expertise to support security incidents using an array of leading security tools, alongside ongoing learning and training.

• Engage with AWS & GCP cloud-native security tools, such as GuardDuty, Security Hub, and GCP Security Command Center, to ensure effective protection and monitoring of threats in Auctane Public Cloud environments.

• Conduct regular security reviews, vulnerability assessments, risk evaluations, and audits using our CSMP tool Wiz and the endpoint vulnerability tool Crowdstrike.

• Foster relationships with all staff to advocate for “Security by Design” throughout the Engineering Teams and the broader organization.

• Participate in the internal Infosec/cybersecurity incident process—investigating suspected attacks and assisting in the management of security incidents, including conducting post-mortem analyses, identifying root causes, and developing solutions and preventive measures.

• Respond promptly to emerging security threats and vulnerabilities, investigate suspected attacks, and play a crucial role in the Information security incident process.

• Engage in continuous learning and training to enhance knowledge of Security Orchestration and Automation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.

• Over 6 years of progressive experience in cybersecurity, with a minimum of 3-5 years in managing large-scale cybersecurity implementations.

• Proven experience in defining and leading multiple cybersecurity programs for large organizations.

• Advanced experience in at least one or two security domains within Enterprise and Cloud Infrastructures to develop threat detection and mitigation strategies.

• Experience in leading projects and programs, establishing roadmaps and milestones, and effectively communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders while advising senior management.

• Experience leading engineers and analysts while collaborating with external team members.

• Ability to balance the demands of delivering high-quality results within tight deadlines.

• Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CRISC, AWS Security, GCP Security).
