This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and expand Penn Foster's B2B sales portfolio within the healthcare sector, targeting healthcare employers and workforce-development partners.
• Design and spearhead the healthcare sales engine from its inception.
• Identify, prospect, and engage new enterprise accounts in the healthcare field.
• Create and implement outbound strategies targeting key healthcare segments.
• Oversee intricate, multi-stakeholder healthcare sales cycles from initial contact through closure and expansion.
• Construct and maintain a robust healthcare enterprise pipeline.
• Formulate strategic account plans for health systems and other essential healthcare organizations.
• Assess customer needs related to talent acquisition, workforce shortages, internal mobility, upskilling, retention, and career progression.
• Link healthcare workforce issues to quantifiable business results.
• Collaborate with the Director of Strategy and Solutions to develop customized workforce-development solutions.
• Influence and navigate stakeholders across HR, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Workforce Development, Operations, Clinical Operations, Pharmacy, Nursing, and Community/Partnership functions.
• Define the ideal customer profile for healthcare, including priority segments, target accounts, and buyer personas.
• Gather market intelligence regarding healthcare workforce trends, talent shortages, training capacities, and employer priorities.
• Experiment and refine healthcare messaging, value propositions, sales strategies, and partnership models.
• Identify emerging needs in the healthcare workforce to guide solutions and market strategies.
• Maintain precise records of pipeline, forecasting, account plans, and opportunity management.
• Operate within established sales stages and CVI methodology.
• Achieve or surpass healthcare revenue goals.
• Create scalable sales processes applicable across various healthcare segments.
• Devise land-and-expand strategies within key healthcare accounts.
• Report directly to the Vice President of Sales.
• At least 7 years of experience in consultative enterprise sales, strategic partnerships, business development, fundraising, healthcare workforce development, or a closely related area.
• Proven success in selling to or partnering with healthcare organizations.
• Strong preference for candidates with healthcare industry experience; direct background with health systems, hospitals, or healthcare employers is highly advantageous.
• Proven capability to build and manage a complex enterprise pipeline.
• Demonstrated success in collaborating with various healthcare stakeholders and organizational functions.
• Experience in a dynamic or rapidly growing environment.
• Established track record in enterprise, consultative sales.
• Experience in selling intricate workforce, education, technology, services, or partnership solutions to healthcare entities.
• Familiarity with sales process frameworks like CVI, MEDDPICC, or similar consultative/value-based sales methodologies.
• Strong understanding of healthcare employer economics, workforce challenges, and organizational structures.
• Knowledge of health systems, hospitals, ambulatory care, pharmacy, post-acute care, or other healthcare settings.
• Excellent business acumen and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong skills in executive presentation, discovery, negotiation, and storytelling.
• Must reside in and perform work within the United States.
• Must be willing and able to travel as required.
• Must fulfill applicable pre-employment screening requirements.
