This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and expand the B2B sales portfolio for employers, social purpose organizations, and workforce-development partners at Penn Foster Group.
• Design and lead the sales engine from inception.
• Identify, prospect, and engage new enterprise accounts as well as social purpose organizations.
• Create and implement outbound strategies targeting priority segments.
• Navigate complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles from initial contact through to closure and expansion.
• Establish and manage a robust enterprise pipeline.
• Formulate strategic account plans.
• Assess workforce challenges related to talent acquisition, shortages, mobility, upskilling, retention, purpose, and career advancement.
• Collaborate with the Director of Strategy and Solutions to develop customized workforce-development solutions.
• Influence executives and leaders within HR, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Workforce Development, Operations, and Community/Partnership functions.
• Define the ideal customer profile, key segments, target accounts, and buying personas.
• Gather market intelligence on workforce trends, talent shortages, training capacity, and employer priorities.
• Experiment with and refine messaging, value propositions, sales strategies, and partnership models.
• Maintain pipeline management, forecasting, account plans, and opportunity tracking.
• Operate within established sales stages and methodologies, including CVI.
• Achieve or surpass revenue targets.
• Create scalable sales processes and land-and-expand strategies.
• Report directly to the Vice President of Sales.
• At least 7 years of experience in consultative enterprise sales, strategic partnerships, business development, fundraising, workforce development, or a related field.
• Proven success in selling to or partnering with organizations.
• Experience in the social purpose industry is highly preferred; direct experience with employers is especially desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to build and manage a complex enterprise pipeline.
• Proven success in collaborating across various stakeholders and organizational functions.
• Experience in a dynamic or high-growth environment.
• A solid track record of success in enterprise, consultative sales.
• Experience in selling complex workforce, education, technology, services, or partnership solutions.
• Familiarity with CVI, MEDDPICC, or similar consultative/value-based sales methodologies.
• Strong understanding of employer economics, workforce challenges, and organizational structures.
• Knowledge of social purpose organizations' missions, funding sources, and target audiences.
• Ability to link workforce-development initiatives to quantifiable outcomes.
• Strong business acumen and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proficient in executive presentation, discovery, negotiation, and storytelling skills.
• Must reside and operate within the United States.
• Must be open to travel as necessary.
• Expected to participate in an on-camera remote culture, being on camera during meetings unless there are extenuating circumstances.
• Must successfully fulfill all applicable pre-employment screening requirements.
