This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.
• Oversee and expand a team of Account Executives targeting mid-market and early enterprise accounts throughout EMEA.
• Enhance sales discussions: mentor your team to delve deeper than features, identify business challenges, and connect Customer.io to significant outcomes.
• Direct strategic selling practices employing frameworks such as MEDDICC, Challenger, or SPIN to cultivate trust and illustrate long-term value.
• Create and implement regional territory strategies that establish a robust pipeline and promote sustained growth across various EMEA markets.
• Take charge of and mentor the outbound sales approach: ensure your team generates the majority of the pipeline through proactive prospecting and engagement within EMEA.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales Development, and Partnerships to leverage the full potential of Customer.io in every customer interaction.
• Mentor and empower your team throughout the entire sales cycle, placing a strong focus on thoughtful discovery and solution design.
• Provide accurate forecasting, ensuring leadership has clear insight into pipeline health and deal progression.
• Recruit, onboard, and nurture exceptional talent, cultivating a culture of integrity, collaboration, and high performance.
• Over 7 years of SaaS sales leadership experience, including the development and management of high-performing Account Executive teams.
• Proven success in driving solution/value-based sales strategies that build trust and yield measurable customer outcomes.
• Experience in selling to mid-market and early enterprise segments, preferably in the martech, CDP, or customer engagement platform sectors.
• Familiarity with navigating complex, multi-country sales landscapes across EMEA, including diverse market dynamics and purchasing behaviors.
• Proficient in coaching teams on outbound pipeline creation and instilling the discipline necessary for generating the majority of the pipeline through outbound efforts.
• Experienced in coaching teams on discovery, consultative selling, and aligning outcomes.
• Data-driven professional capable of accurate forecasting, target management, and instilling operational discipline.
