Director, Risk and Assurance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as the primary leader for the organization's enterprise risk management, compliance oversight, and audit coordination.

• Manage centralized processes for risk intake and triage.

• Facilitate external audits and evaluations.

• Examine trends related to risk, audits, investigations, and remediation efforts.

• Provide risk reporting to the executive leadership team.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related discipline (mandatory).

• Over 10 years of experience in compliance, risk management, audit, operational excellence, or healthcare operations.

• At least 5 years of experience in a leadership role.

• In-depth knowledge of Enterprise Risk Management principles and frameworks.

• Proven experience in managing external audits, regulatory assessments, and corrective action governance.

• Strong preference for candidates with Medicaid and healthcare experience.
