Director, Public Sector and Provider Partners

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut, +15 more states.

📋 Description

• Take charge of new business development and revenue enhancement within public-sector/government and behavioral health/healthcare provider markets.

• Manage the entire sales process, from prospecting and discovery to demonstrations, proposals, negotiations, contracting, and closing deals.

• Develop and implement a strategic account plan for the Western U.S. region, focusing on high-priority public-sector and provider targets.

• Generate a sales pipeline through outbound prospecting, networking, referrals, and leads generated by marketing efforts.

• Navigate intricate, matrixed organizations with various stakeholders and approval processes.

• Provide consultative discovery sessions and impactful presentations to government, clinical, and executive audiences.

• Oversee pipeline management and maintain accurate forecasts within Salesforce.

• Collaborate with Marketing, Clinical, Customer Success, and Finance teams to advance deals.

• Responsible for achieving an annual sales target of $1.25 million while fostering qualified pipeline and reliable account relationships.


⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience selling to, contracting with, or working in public-sector organizations, healthcare organizations, behavioral health providers, or related fields.

• Proven history of generating new business and successfully closing contracts as an individual contributor.

• Familiarity with selling complex solutions involving multiple stakeholders and extended sales cycles.

• Knowledge of the behavioral health ecosystem, including CCBHCs, FQHCs, CMHCs, treatment courts, state behavioral health agencies, or similar government-funded initiatives.

• Excellent consultative selling abilities and a comfort level working independently in a remote, matrixed environment.

• Proficient in Salesforce or a similar CRM for managing pipeline and forecasting activities.

• A bachelor's degree is mandatory.

• Experience in behavioral health, SUD, healthcare technology, digital health, Medicaid, population health, care coordination, peer recovery support, or public-sector healthcare sales is particularly advantageous.
