Director, Public Relations and Communications

📋 Description

• Take charge of Horizon3.ai’s worldwide PR and communications strategy, focusing on earned media, thought leadership, and significant company milestones.

• Develop and enhance the company narrative, messaging framework, and positioning within the cybersecurity and AI sectors.

• Create integrated communication plans that align with product launches, campaigns, funding announcements, and major events (e.g., RSA, Black Hat).

• Collaborate closely with executives to enhance their external visibility through media, speaking engagements, social media, and bylines.

• Craft executive platforms that bolster Horizon3.ai’s perspective and leadership in the industry.

• Offer guidance and preparation for critical moments, including media interviews, keynotes, and sensitive communications.

• Oversee the strategy and performance of PR agencies in various regions.

• Prioritize tasks, manage budgets, and ensure that agency deliverables align with the company’s goals and narrative.

• Define clear KPIs and hold partners accountable for results.

• Collaborate with Product Marketing and Management, Channels, Demand Generation, Sales, Customer, and People teams to ensure cohesive storytelling across all platforms.

• Act as the main point of coordination for external messaging across press, web, social media, and customer communications.

• Develop and sustain crisis communication frameworks and response protocols.

• Serve as a strategic consultant to leadership in sensitive or high-risk scenarios.

• Ensure thoughtful, consistent, and prompt responses for both internal and external audiences.

• Lead the strategy and execution for the analyst relations function, focusing on increasing awareness and validating our category and leadership stance.

• Establish success metrics for PR and communications (such as share of voice, message pull-through, executive visibility, and influence on pipeline).

• Utilize insights to refine strategy, messaging, and prioritization.

⛳️ Requirements

• 8–12+ years of experience in PR, corporate communications, or similar roles within the B2B technology sector (cybersecurity experience is highly preferred).

• Demonstrated experience leading PR strategy and executive communications in a high-growth organization.

• Strong capability to function as a strategic advisor to senior leadership.

• Experience in managing agencies and scaling PR initiatives on a global scale.

• Outstanding storytelling, messaging, and executive presence development abilities.

• Capacity to prioritize, simplify, and maintain focus in a fast-paced environment.
