PR & Marketing Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Revamp the website messaging to clearly articulate the company's purpose and significance.

• Develop the founders' LinkedIn presence into a reliable and cohesive channel.

• Define the social media strategy and tone for the company.

• Create press and partner-facing materials to ensure they are ready for immediate distribution upon the announcement of the seed round and partnership news.

• Deliver a comprehensive playbook for the team to utilize after the engagement concludes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Self-sufficient operator: Fractional CMO, former agency strategist, or startup marketing leader who thrives without a predefined brief.

• Proven impact: A history of transforming a technical company from obscurity to credibility, with demonstrable before-and-after results.

• Outstanding writing skills: Capable of converting intricate AI concepts into trustworthy language for buyers, journalists, and investors, without oversimplifying.

• Domain expertise: Strong preference for fluency in AI or health-tech; a genuine interest in the industry is essential.

• Autonomous execution: Comfortable delivering results independently, with direct access to founders and complete creative freedom.

• Preferred qualifications: Previous experience as a fractional CMO or in agency leadership; portfolio showcasing work in regulated or clinical environments; established connections with health-tech or AI media. Bay Area candidates are preferred.
