This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborates across functions to devise partnership strategies for clinical trials and programs.
• Works in close conjunction with our project teams to offer oversight and strategic insights in the planning, coordination, and execution of all activities related to assigned clinical study projects.
• Ensures that the project goals concerning quality, scope, cost, and timelines are successfully met.
• Directs, manages, and ensures teamwork among a group of Project Directors and Project Managers in the planning, execution, and governance of projects/portfolios on a global scale.
• Provides leadership and oversight for all clinical programs and manages activities in select unique cases.
• Acts as the primary escalation point for study sponsors beyond project management.
• Enhances the profitability of the Project Management organization to meet or surpass budget objectives.
• Evaluates and manages resource allocations to guarantee that established cost, time, and quality targets are achieved.
• Selects, trains, develops, and oversees the performance of talent in project leadership roles.
• Offers technical support and guidance to assigned project managers.
• Identifies and escalates any impacts to project scope, resources, schedule, or budget following standard procedures.
• Ensures that project leadership personnel adhere to the highest quality standards.
• Collaborates with Business Development on opportunity identification, proposal preparation, and budgeting.
• Understands and manages the inter-dependencies of projects/programs to reach program milestones and deliverables.
• Conducts evaluations and implements necessary changes for all projects.
• Measures and reports on KPIs while leading continuous improvement initiatives.
• Recognizes, exemplifies, and upholds Precision’s values centered on quality, our people, clients, and performance.
• Manages the workload of supervised staff with ongoing assessment and adjustments as necessary.
• Provides continuous feedback, development, and coaching for Project Directors and Project Managers.
• Bachelor’s degree or a combination of education and experience in a science or health-related field; advanced degree preferred.
• At least 10 years of experience in clinical research, including significant project management and line management experience or demonstrated competencies for this role.
• Proficient understanding of GCP/ICH guidelines and the clinical development process.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Microsoft Project.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate in a team environment.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a customer service-oriented attitude.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, including overnight stays.
