Director, Project Engineering

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• The Director of Project Engineering is accountable for overseeing, mentoring, monitoring, reporting, and leading the Project Engineering team that assists with new facility construction (Greenfield), client transitions (Brownfield), and the implementation of technology.

• Monitor all projects and provide communication and guidance to the management team.

• Collaborate with Automations & Integration, IT, Operations, HR, and Quality resources.

• Supply project engineering resources to facilitate all approved implementations for both new and existing facilities or technology deployments.

• Create, update, and manage project management tools in alignment with the New Business Implementation team.

• Ensure that Implementation Project Scopes are clearly outlined, defined, and adhere to the internal Contract Logistics Project Approach.

⛳️ Requirements

• A four-year degree in Engineering is a fundamental requirement.

• At least 10+ years of relevant job-related experience.

• Experience in third-party logistics (3PL).

• Supervise 1 Engineer Manager, 1-2 Senior Industrial Engineering Managers, and 8-10 Engineers.

• Computer Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, Visio, AutoCAD LT, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Language Skills: Proficient in English (reading, writing, verbal), with Spanish being a plus.
