Director, Program Design

📋 Description

• Reporting to the VP of Growth Operations, the Director of Program Design is responsible for shaping how Kambo engages with and secures work from communities, utilities, and government entities.

• Concentrates on the initial stages of opportunity development, collaborating on proposals and RFPs to convert funding and policy requirements into impactful, equity-focused programs.

• Prioritize and oversee proposals across all divisions of Kambo from the initial review phase through to submission.

• Offer guidance throughout the implementation process.

• Serve as the point of contact between Kambo and funders to manage the details of proposals.

• Create competitive and precise project budgets and pricing strategies in conjunction with program and finance teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5–10+ years of experience in program design or similar positions.

• Proven track record in managing RFPs and taking ownership of associated processes.

• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and communication abilities.

• Experience collaborating with governments, utilities, nonprofits, or regulated sectors.

• Extensive experience working cross-functionally and engaging with multiple stakeholders.

• Exceptional communication, organizational skills, and judgment.

• Collaborative, hands-on, and adaptable in changing environments.
