This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Develop and implement the product strategy and roadmap for fiResponse, Tactical Analyst, and associated incident management functionalities.
• Spearhead the incorporation of Technosylva's weather and fire behavior analytics into incident management processes, transforming complex data into actionable insights for field commanders and dispatch centers.
• Oversee and guide a team of 1-2 Product Managers, promoting their professional growth while upholding high standards for product delivery.
• Collaborate with engineering, scientific, and meteorological teams to convert innovative fire modeling and weather forecasting into user-friendly, real-time tools for responders.
• Engage directly with fire agencies and incident management teams to identify operational requirements and confirm product direction.
• Work in close partnership with our Solutions Consultant to ensure product development aligns with actual customer workflows and success metrics.
• Propel adoption and engagement metrics, ensuring our products are regarded as indispensable tools for incident management operations.
• Guarantee compliance with relevant standards and interoperability criteria (including CAD integration protocols and NIMS/ICS frameworks).
• Over 10 years of experience in product management, including at least 5 years in leadership positions overseeing product teams.
• Direct experience within or collaborating with incident management operations—such as fire agencies, emergency management, incident command, or emergency dispatch environments.
• Solid understanding of Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) systems and their integration with tactical and situational awareness tools.
• Proven ability to develop products for mission-critical, time-sensitive operational settings where user experience and reliability are crucial.
• Extensive experience in translating complex data (including weather, geospatial, and predictive models) into user-friendly interfaces for non-technical users in high-pressure situations.
• Strong technical expertise with the capability to assess architectural decisions, data pipelines, and real-time system requirements.
• Experience in managing products through significant growth stages, effectively balancing the development of new features with platform stability.
• Exceptional communication skills, enabling the articulation of complex technical concepts to both executive audiences and front-line responders.
