This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Establish and implement the product vision for LanguageLine Solutions.
• Motivate and guide the Product Development team in conceptualizing and creating exceptional products.
• Champion customer interests and foster innovation on their behalf.
• Comprehend and convey market demands with substantiated customer and market insights.
• Anticipate changes in the language access industry and its regulatory landscape.
• Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional product teams to develop roadmaps that align with strategic goals and customer requirements.
• Organize and prioritize product features and requirements from the initial conceptual phase through the entire product lifecycle.
• Eliminate organizational and operational barriers that hinder product innovation.
• At least 10 years of experience leading Product Management, Product Development, or Product Engineering teams in a software-centric industry.
• A proven history of defining product vision and successfully converting that vision into market reality.
• Strong critical thinking, analytical problem-solving, and negotiation capabilities.
• Demonstrated strategic insight related to Product Placement, Marketing, R&D, and Vendor partnerships.
• Exceptional analytical and quantitative abilities; experience utilizing data and metrics to validate theories, affirm assumptions, and assess success.
• Proficient in building consensus and providing thoughtful, data-driven recommendations for key decisions, including prioritization, scope, solution design, issue management, and risk assessment and mitigation.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable presenting in front of industry or company executives, engaging with current and potential clients in discussions regarding product features and capabilities, and delving into the specifics of product requirements with software or quality assurance engineers.
• Skilled in cross-functional communication to ensure all stakeholders have the necessary resources for effective collaboration.
• Proven ability to identify when a problem or solution requires further guidance or expertise and the capability to seek out relevant information from experts across the organization.
• Strong experience in delivering solutions that satisfy customers and stakeholders while achieving the intended value proposition; also experienced in helping stakeholders comprehend when and why a particular solution may not meet the envisioned value/results.
• Excellent team-building, mentoring, and leadership skills.
• Proven capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and deliver product features punctually.
• Ability to perceive various solutions to issues and identify the most suitable one for the context.
• Must exhibit strong business judgment and a practical, common-sense approach to accomplishing goals.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, or a related field from an accredited college/university, or equivalent business experience.
