• You pinpoint the most impactful questions, develop frameworks to address them, and present clear recommendations to product and leadership, ensuring that PMs and executives make informed decisions because of your presence.

• You oversee and nurture a team of product analysts focused on our top-priority initiatives. You tackle the most challenging and impactful tasks yourself while enhancing the capabilities of those around you through effective hiring, coaching, and the standards you establish.

• Responsible for growth outcomes.

• Your performance is evaluated based on the business impact of analytics-driven decisions, such as conversion, retention, and revenue per lead, rather than the quantity of analyses generated. You work across various product areas, experiments, and data sources, highlighting patterns and strategic opportunities that isolated analyses often overlook, reshaping leadership's perspective on growth.

• Profound understanding of customers and the business.

• You develop a comprehensive model of customer behavior, identifying what influences conversion and retention, as well as potential growth opportunities. This model informs everything from long-term strategic bets to the micro-decisions made during weekly product reviews.

• Experimentation at a portfolio level.

• You take ownership of the experimentation strategy across your product domains, including designing, setting guardrails, interpreting results, and identifying cross-experiment patterns that reveal insights not captured by individual tests.

• Quality and judgment in AI systems.

• Our agents gather data, read configurations, and generate draft analyses. You are responsible for ensuring the quality of this output across the team — validating, refining, and improving the system over time. Prioritizing human judgment over AI judgment is paramount.

• Elevating the entire team’s standards.

• You establish the benchmark for how AI and analytical rigor collaborate. When you discover a more effective method for validating an experiment, scrutinizing a metric, or acquiring signals from AI swiftly, you set it as the new standard for the team and ensure they can implement it independently.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of product analytics experience in consumer-oriented, high-growth settings.

• More than 3 years of experience managing product analysts, with a proven history of hiring, developing, and retaining top talent — coupled with a player-coach mentality that keeps you engaged with the work.

• You proactively identify gaps, frame questions, formulate answers, and deliver insights to the appropriate audience, advancing at five times the speed of a traditional analyst — not by cutting corners, but by utilizing all available tools. When you resolve a problem, you do so for the benefit of the team.

• You have influenced product development beyond merely reporting on what has been released.

• Extensive knowledge in experiment design, causal inference, and power analysis — in addition to regular use of AI tools and a clear understanding of their strengths, limitations, and the non-negotiable nature of human judgment.

• You possess the ability to engage executives on the significance of a p-value and to connect data engineers with business metrics. Your writing is clear, your presentations are compelling, and you understand when a Slack message is more effective than a slide deck.

• Proficient with the modern analytics stack (Snowflake, dbt, Amplitude, Hex, Mode). Strong SQL foundations are essential — not because you'll need to write every query manually, but to reason through data, validate AI-generated outputs, and troubleshoot issues effectively.
