This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of the enterprise strategy and roadmap for Precision Health's advanced capabilities and EMR informatics across various therapeutic areas.
• Facilitate the prioritization of capability investments through governance processes and alignment across cross-functional teams.
• Create frameworks to evaluate solutions and partnerships by considering factors such as value, feasibility, scalability, risk, and sustainability.
• Collaborate with external vendors and ecosystem stakeholders to assess, select, and promote site-of-care solutions.
• Identify unmet needs and convert field and market insights into problem statements and technology-driven solutions.
• Oversee the design, piloting, evaluation, and scaling of decision-support and site-of-care solutions.
• Establish success metrics, track performance, and suggest expansion, refinement, or discontinuation of initiatives.
• Anticipate industry trends and pinpoint opportunities that enhance Novartis’ competitive edge.
• Integrate customer, field, analytics, and market insights to uncover care gaps and workflow challenges.
• Lead or assist in external scouting to identify solutions and partnerships.
• Connect Precision Health with Medical, Commercial, Market Access, Data and Digital, Legal, Compliance, Procurement, and external collaborators.
• Define KPIs and create business cases for scalable and repeatable initiatives.
• Utilize AI tools to optimize tasks, produce content, and enhance decision-making.
• Spearhead the development of informatics-driven approaches to expedite clinical trials through collaboration with provider research informatics teams, EHR vendors, and real-world data partners.
• A Bachelor’s degree is mandatory.
• An advanced degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 8 years of experience in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, diagnostics, health informatics, or technology.
• At least 3 years of experience in digital health business development roles.
• Proven experience in project management, technology partnerships, and third-party data collaborations.
• Familiarity with clinical decision support, diagnostic or technology partnership alliances, and therapeutic delivery.
• A successful history of achieving objectives through cross-functional partnerships across therapeutic areas.
• Experience in strategy and operations, training, external partnerships, and/or BD&L, along with customer solutions/customer experience.
• Strong data literacy skills.
• Strategic and responsible thinking regarding digital and AI-enabled solutions.
• Practical proficiency in prompting, interpreting, and refining AI outputs.
• People leadership experience is preferred.
