
Director, Pre- and Post-Acute Account Sales

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Tennessee.
• Formulate and implement strategic initiatives aimed at acquiring new logos in designated Pre- and Post-Acute care environments, ensuring the retention of current revenue and growth within the Post-Acute customer sector.
• Direct forecasting activities on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis, while evaluating key performance indicators, activity metrics, and other performance measures that enhance new business growth, retention, and expansion across both teams.
• Examine performance data for individuals and teams to detect trends, enhance execution, and facilitate the achievement of acquisition, retention, and expansion goals.
• Create and uphold a business plan with quantifiable goals and objectives, presenting business insights, risks, and opportunities to senior sales leadership in a clear and effective manner.
• Work collaboratively with Operations, Customer Support, and cross-functional partners to ensure customer requirements are fulfilled and to promote successful onboarding, adoption, retention, and growth.
• Mentor, coach, and develop team members through onboarding, training, performance management, and continuous feedback to foster growth and accountability.
• Organize, schedule, and conduct weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual team meetings, while maintaining regular one-on-one sessions that emphasize performance, development, and business priorities.
• Accompany team members to customer meetings to provide coaching, enhance client engagement, and support strategic sales efforts.
• Engage in ongoing professional development by maintaining comprehensive product knowledge, deepening expertise in healthcare market dynamics, and honing communication, presentation, negotiation, and leadership skills.
• Guide the sales team in addressing requests for proposals and information, support high-quality response strategies, and ensure pricing alignment.
• Assist in the negotiation and finalization of new and existing business deals.
• Keep track of competitive offerings and market trends, providing actionable insights to aid in positioning, product alignment, and sales strategy.
• Collaborate across functions with Marketing, Product, Operations, and other internal stakeholders to create customer solutions that align with company strategy, values, and business objectives.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; BA or BS preferred.
• Over 10 years of experience selling software solutions within the healthcare sector, ideally with a background in Pre- and Post-Acute care.
• A minimum of 3 years leading teams of 7 or more Account Executives.
• Demonstrated success in surpassing sales targets in a management role, with a preference for at least 1 year overseeing a team responsible for an existing customer base.
• Experience in driving both new business sales and growth of existing customers within a technology or software firm.
• Extensive knowledge of the healthcare industry, particularly in Pre- and Post-Acute care, including buying cycles, key trends, value propositions, and essential success factors.
• Outstanding customer service and communication abilities (both verbal and written).
• Strong presentation skills and an executive presence.
• Strategic thinker with solid business acumen and effective negotiation capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks; works with urgency and strives for excellence in performance.
• Enthusiastic and self-motivated, with the capacity to operate independently with minimal supervision.
