Director, Policy – Governance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead the creation, interpretation, and management of policy, governance, and compliance frameworks that support TEFCA.

• Act as a senior consultant to executive leadership regarding policy, governance, and regulatory alignment.

• Supervise the legal and compliance team to ensure compliance across the network.

• Establish, support, and manage the governance structures mandated by TEFCA.

• Keep track of federal and state policy and regulatory changes and evaluate their implications for TEFCA.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree is required; a Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent legal training is strongly preferred.

• Over 10 years of experience in health policy, governance, regulatory affairs, compliance, or health IT interoperability.

• Extensive knowledge of TEFCA, the Common Agreement, and governance models that support trust frameworks is preferred.

• A solid understanding of health IT interoperability.

• Proficient in converting intricate legal, contractual, and regulatory requirements into clear, actionable policy and governance frameworks.

• Demonstrated capability to lead intricate policy, governance, and compliance initiatives within a regulated environment.
