📋 Description

• Define and lead the strategy for the People Analytics Team’s data science and analytics engineering, establishing a clear roadmap aligned with People Team objectives.

• Build and nurture a high-performing team of data scientists, promoting a culture centered on innovation, growth, and impactful results.

• Develop scalable, product-focused data solutions, including models, tools, and frameworks that are widely utilized and facilitate decision-making.

• Collaborate with HR leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to transform business challenges into impactful data and AI solutions.

• Oversee the creation of predictive models that forecast personnel outcomes, identify potential risks, and support proactive decision-making.

• Spearhead the development of AI-driven tools and data products that provide insights to managers and leaders on a large scale.

• Ensure the integrity, governance, and scalability of the data infrastructure that underpins People Analytics.

• Manage complex, high-stakes analytical projects and clearly communicate insights to non-technical audiences to influence strategic decisions.

• Shape HubSpot’s AI strategy within the People Team, including decisions on building versus buying solutions and fostering cross-team collaboration.

• Guarantee the ethical, compliant, and responsible utilization of employee data across all initiatives.


⛳️ Requirements

• 8–10+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or a relevant field, including more than 5 years in leadership roles for technical teams.

• Extensive technical expertise in data science, with experience in building and deploying models and navigating the data stack.

• Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary teams (e.g., data science and analytics engineering).

• Proven record of delivering scalable data products or solutions that result in measurable business outcomes.

• Ability to distill complex technical work into clear insights that resonate with non-technical stakeholders.

• Experience working cross-functionally in matrixed environments and influencing senior stakeholders effectively.

• Strong leadership capabilities with an emphasis on talent development and fostering inclusive, high-performing teams.

• Awareness of ethical considerations and best practices when managing people or employee data.
