This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Lead large-scale organizational change initiatives within the Engineering Organization, collaborating with senior leadership to manage transitions, enhance employee engagement, and minimize resistance while ensuring seamless integration during transformations, mergers, or acquisitions.
• Spearhead leadership development programs, which include executive coaching and succession planning, to ensure a strong, diverse leadership pipeline that is prepared to tackle future business challenges.
• Oversee the facilitation and strategic alignment of talent development programs, partnering with internal teams to guarantee that learning, career development, and mobility initiatives are in sync with organizational objectives and promote ongoing growth.
• Take charge of enhancing organizational effectiveness, employee satisfaction, and overall workforce experience by creating and implementing targeted interventions founded on a comprehensive understanding of employee needs and business priorities.
• Collaborate with the senior leadership team to foster organizational alignment, ensuring that business strategies are supported by effective talent management, leadership, and people practices that boost both individual and collective performance.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, guiding them on complex personnel challenges, leadership development, and organizational effectiveness to elevate leadership capabilities and enhance team performance.
• Partner with senior executives and leadership teams to implement innovative talent strategies that directly support business growth, enhance organizational capabilities, and drive high performance throughout the organization.
• Work closely with the broader People team Centers of Excellence to promote organizational culture initiatives that embody a high-performance mindset, foster employee engagement, and encourage a collaborative, inclusive atmosphere across all levels of the organization.
• Provide strategic guidance on organizational design, people strategy, and talent architecture, ensuring seamless integration between organizational needs, business priorities, and people-related initiatives across the enterprise.
• Direct the execution of comprehensive talent management strategies, including performance management, talent reviews, succession planning, and development of high-potential employees, ensuring a pipeline of future leaders aligned with business objectives.
• Lead the implementation of strategic workforce planning initiatives, ensuring that talent acquisition, development, and retention strategies are aligned with the organization’s evolving business goals and objectives.
• Utilize advanced people analytics to deliver actionable insights into workforce trends, employee engagement, retention, and other key performance metrics, promoting data-driven decision-making at the senior leadership level.
• 12+ years of experience in People-related roles, including 5+ years as a People Business Partner or a similar position.
• At least 4 years of experience as a people manager.
• Required prior experience collaborating with the Tech organization/Engineering.
• Proven experience in coaching leaders through performance management and employee relations challenges.
• Strong listening skills and persuasive communication abilities that influence actions and outcomes at all levels.
• Intellectual curiosity about people and organizational dynamics, coupled with robust business acumen.
• Experience building relationships as a trusted advisor to executive team members.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; capable of conveying information clearly and succinctly.
• Robust project management, change management, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• A proactive mindset with the capability to translate vision into actionable steps.
• Previous experience in fast-paced environments and assisting organizations in scaling.
