This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design and implement a thorough payer engagement approach covering both commercial and government payers (Medicare, Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, and important regional plans).
• Spearhead initiatives to secure, enhance, and optimize payer coverage policies that promote access, suitable utilization, and reimbursement.
• Identify and prioritize key payer accounts while creating focused engagement plans that align with Iantrek’s commercial goals.
• Establish and nurture robust relationships with national and regional payer decision-makers, including medical directors, policy teams, and reimbursement leaders.
• Oversee payer-facing interactions, which include clinical and economic presentations, value discussions, and policy negotiations.
• Represent Iantrek externally with credibility, utilizing clinical data, health economic insights, and real-world evidence to bolster coverage decisions.
• Monitor and evaluate payer policies, coverage trends, and competitive dynamics to guide proactive strategy formulation.
• Provide continuous insights to internal stakeholders regarding payer behavior, access challenges, and market dynamics.
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop clinical evidence generation and HEOR strategies that favorably position payers.
• Work closely with Field Reimbursement, Sales, Marketing, Clinical, and Medical Affairs to ensure consistency between payer strategy and field execution.
• Assist in the implementation of coverage decisions by converting payer policy into actionable field guidance and tools.
• Partner with Finance and Leadership on pricing strategy, contracting considerations, and revenue forecasting.
• Contribute to enhancing Iantrek’s overall Market Access capabilities, including tools, messaging, and internal training.
• Aid in the creation of payer-facing materials, such as value dossiers, clinical summaries, and economic narratives.
• Help create scalable processes as Iantrek expands, while ensuring agility and speed.
• Ensure that all payer interactions and materials comply with regulatory, legal, and compliance standards.
• Operate with the utmost integrity in all external engagements.
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MPH, PharmD, or equivalent) preferred.
• Over 8 years of experience in Market Access, Payer Relations, or Reimbursement within the medical device, biotech, or healthcare sectors.
• Proven success in engaging with payers and influencing coverage policy for medical benefit products or procedural technologies.
• Strong comprehension of payer decision-making processes, coverage pathways, and reimbursement dynamics across various care settings (ASC, HOPD, physician office).
• Experience in supporting product launches or new category adoption is highly preferred.
• Capability to translate clinical and economic data into persuasive payer value propositions.
• Strong executive presence with the ability to engage senior external stakeholders and internal leadership effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to operate both strategically and tactically in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting.
• Collaborative, solutions-oriented approach with the capacity to influence without authority.
