Director, Patient Support Programs – PSP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and implement strategic initiatives that are in line with the organization's goals.

• Develop and oversee dashboards to ensure the presence of appropriate metrics across the organization.

• Supervise the creation and delivery of essential services, including updates on patient status, EOS notifications, assistance with prior authorizations, and verification of benefits.

• Collaborate with external stakeholders, including healthcare providers and payors, to facilitate seamless patient support.

• Set and track performance metrics to enhance productivity and guide strategic decision-making.

• Lead and manage the team while promoting a culture of accountability, collaboration, and excellence.

• Recruit, onboard, and nurture talent to cultivate a high-performing organization.

• Effectively manage budgets and resources to meet departmental goals.

• Implement and assess metrics to evaluate the effectiveness and impact of Patient Programs, recognize trends and patterns, and provide data-driven recommendations for enhancements.

• Remain updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in healthcare-related Patient Support programs.

• More than 10 years of progressive leadership and team management experience.

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in the medical device or pharmaceutical sectors.

• BA/BS degree in a relevant field.

• Strong expertise in managed care, case management, reimbursement, and health insurance.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.

• Strong problem-solving capabilities within complex and compliance-regulated environments.
