This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Sets goals and objectives, formulates work plans, delegates tasks, maintains timelines, and coordinates activities.
• Oversees the timely execution of tasks and guarantees that objectives and goals are achieved.
• Promotes team development, mentors and inspires staff to ensure high productivity, quality, collaboration, and enhanced group competency.
• Organizes, leads, and engages in data collection from various sources to gather information necessary for analyzing and defining annual updates for tax knowledge materials.
• Facilitates the revision of existing tax knowledge courses and materials while identifying efficiencies to optimize current development processes.
• Aids in identifying current and upcoming tax law changes and developing new tax-related educational materials in diverse formats.
• Collaborates with Learning Specialists to support the integration of tax content into operational materials when appropriate.
• Regularly assesses the utilization of materials to aid in planning.
• Coordinates responses to tax-related inquiries.
• Reviews staff work and offers constructive feedback.
• Ensures compliance with departmental processes and standards.
• Manages the annual maintenance of courses and investigates available technologies to improve departmental processes and procedures.
• Performs additional duties as necessary.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related discipline, or equivalent experience and education.
• Significant individual income tax experience is highly preferred; however, some tax knowledge (corporate, individual, etc.) is necessary.
• Minimum of 10 years of combined tax knowledge and instructional design experience.
• At least 2 years of project and/or resource management experience.
• Educational design experience is highly preferred.
• Comprehensive understanding of adult learning techniques, instructional design, and distance learning methodologies.
• Basic familiarity with Learning Management Systems, preferably Schoox, is advantageous.
• Strong research and analytical abilities, including the application of A.I. for research and analysis.
